Our People/Iman Dawoud

Iman Dawoud is an Associate Managing Director and head of the firm’s Dubai office. A Certified Fraud Examiner, Iman has extensive experience conducting high-profile FCPA investigations, asset traces, due diligence investigations, fraud risk assessments, and dispute advisory projects. She has managed large vendor screening projects for major US corporates covering the Levant, North Africa, and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Iman joined Nardello & Co. from a global investigations firm’s disputes consulting and intelligence practice in Dubai, where she oversaw regional operations and managed multiple large commodity fraud investigations. Previously, Iman was part of a forensics team for a Big 4 consulting firm.

Iman started her career as a journalist at an independent pan-Arab daily newspaper and is published in both Arabic and English. During her journalistic career, Iman was a foreign correspondent for both Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, and covered major international events, including the Arab League Summit.

Iman graduated from SOAS University of London with a BA in economics and Arabic. She has also studied in the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University, Syria and the Faculty of Literature at Alexandria University, Egypt. In addition to her native English, Iman is a proficient Arabic speaker.
