Prior to joining Nardello & Co., Scott served as both a Supervisory Special Agent and Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During his 21-year tenure, he managed and investigated federal crimes, including cyber intrusion, extortion, intellectual property theft, terrorism, and insider threats. On the Cyber Intrusion Task Force, he pursued Advanced Persistent Threat, nation state and cybercriminal actors. He was a certified FBI Crisis Management subject matter expert and field Behavioral Analysis Unit Coordinator.
Scott was the Lead for the New Jersey Biotechnology Threat Focus Cell, a multi-agency cyber, national security, and insider threat defense initiative, comprised of Federal and State agencies, industry partners, and associations. He most recently led FBI New Jersey cyber risk efforts in Operation Warp Speed, the United States Government’s initiative to accelerate and protect COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics.
Prior to being recruited by the FBI, Scott worked in the healthcare industry for the Catholic Health System in Buffalo, New York, as the Director of Physical Therapy.
