As you may have seen, on April 16th we issued our report summarizing the results of our investigation into allegations made by several news organizations and NGOs about abusive labor practices for the thousands of migrant workers involved in building New York University’s campus in Abu Dhabi.

Nardello & Co. was selected in June of last year by the Government of Abu Dhabi to conduct an independent investigation of those allegations. Our investigation comprised a review of thousands of documents, hundreds of interviews with construction workers and company and government representatives in the UAE, Bangladesh, Qatar, US, UK, Ireland and Canada, as well as site visits to worker accommodation camps.
