Curtis Rose is an Associate Managing Director in the firm's Digital Investigations & Cyber Defense practice and is based in Washington, DC. Curtis assists in the management of engagements involving cyber incident response, insider threats, digital forensics, intrusion analysis, and cybersecurity advisory services.

• EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO NARDELLO & CO.

  Prior to joining Nardello & Co., Curtis was the managing member of Curtis W. Rose & Associates LLC, founded in 2007, which provided computer forensics, expert testimony, litigation support, computer intrusion response, and training to commercial and government clients.

  Prior to founding his firm, Curtis was the Vice President of Research, Chief Technology Officer, and a founding member of Mandiant Corporation where he led technical teams which conducted research & development, computer intrusion investigations, and forensic examinations, as well as providing technical support to criminal investigations and civil litigation.

  Curtis’ first civilian employment was at Sytex, Inc., where he was a founding member and Senior Fellow of the Sytex Information Warfare Center and later became the Director of Investigations & Forensics, building and managing the company’s incident response and forensics program and left as a Principal Forensic Scientist.

  Prior to joining Sytex, Curtis was a Senior Counterintelligence Special Agent with the United States Army’s Military Intelligence Branch where he conducted national security investigations and specialized in technical investigations and computer forensics.
